  5. Hello Shelley! Wowsy, I hav e Never done a DETOX before and do know it is time.. I have gained a few pounds over the winter and cannot shake them even though I am very active now.. Perhaps this is just what my body needs..

    Thank You so much for the much needed push, I do have a question though, when you do a detox Do you do this just once or is this an ongoing thing?

    Interesting that I came across this post today because I have been investigating cleanses over the last few days. A friend want me to do the Master Cleanse with her beginning today. After reading up on it over the internet, I don’t feel too good about it. I am about to have my first serving of the ‘lemonade’ but may try to convince her to do a different cleanse.

    • Rachel, I really don’t believe in doing detoxes or cleanses that are so drastic and only use liquids like the master cleanse. That’s why I created my radiance holistic detox cleanse program based on whole foods because it is so much easier to incorporate into your life and you never feel hungry or deprived while on the detox.   9. I feel that since seeing my nutritionist monthly has changed my overall body wholeness. I regained energy and lost weight. Not saying I need to, yet feel better and last longer during the day.

    My experience with this cleansing. May confuse most people who will over do it. May I suggest to understand various methods and then, find one that fits your situation. We all are different and most take medication. Be very careful you are not harming yourself. Information can be powerful only with the right execution of actions.

I agree that people should not overdue a cleanse and try a severe detox program that can do more harm than good. I created a gentle detox cleanse program based on whole foods and a elimination diet that removes foods that may cause food sensitivities, leaky gut issues and chronic inflammation like dairy, soy, corn, gluten, eggs, sugar and wheat. I recommend right in the detox that you check with your doctor before attempting to do any type of detox or change in diet. I also make it clear that if you have a serious disease or are on certain prescription medications, you should not do any type of detox program.
