High Intensity Interval Workout for a Detox Cleanse

Working out while detoxing is important for helping you move out toxins quickly and efficiently so your body can heal and get healthy. Regular exercise helps enhance your body’s elimination channels and increases their effectiveness by stimulating bowel movements, increasing sweat production, and increasing circulation of lymph and blood which all works together to remove toxins and waste from your body. I recommend that you try this workout on the last two days of the detox if you are a person who exercises frequently while your body adjusts to the detox cleanse and do gentle stretching and brisk walking for the first three days. If you don’t exercise on a regular basis do gentle stretching and brisk walking during the entire detox cleanse. Once you finish the detox cleanse you can continue to use this high intensity home workout to help you stay clean and fit at the same time!

 

Exercising can be done at home, can be done effectively without gym equipment, and can be completed in under an hour. You just have to make sure that you know what you’re doing, and that you give it your all. This maximum high intensity interval circuit workout is a fantastic fat burner and will help move toxins out of your body quickly. All you need to do this interval workout is a gymboss interval timer and your body. That’s it! No fancy equipment or gym memberships required.

Here’s the list of exercises:

1) HIGH KNEES (45 sec)

2) SCISSORS (45 sec)

3) BASKETBALL HOOPS (45 sec)

4) SKI ABS (45 sec)

 5) SPLIT SQUATS (45 sec)

6) PLANK PUNCHES (45 sec)

 7) LEG CROSS JUMPS (45 sec)

 

Once you complete the 7 exercises back to back, take a 30 second break and repeat the entire circuit all over again 2 more times for a total of 3 times!

      Thanks Yorinda! It’s great to have exercises which you can do in the comfort of your own home without spending lots of money on expensive gym memberships or fancy equipment. You do need to ease into exercise if you haven’t been active for a while so feel free to build up to a level that feels comfortable for you.
